Overview Page

Hi everyone. This is Dennis Dornon MainWP. And in this video, I'm going to go over the MainWP Dashboard overview page. 

This is the initial page that you see when you log into your Dashboard. And it does just, as the name implies, it gives you a quick overview of all your sites.

Remember to get the most updated information. You'll want to press the Sync Dashboard with Child sites button. So your Dashboard can gather the most recent data from your Child sites. I recommend doing this every time you log in to be sure you are working with the most recent information and now that we have completed the Sync. 

Let's look at what the page presents us. 

On this page, you will find different Widgets representing a range of important features from Updates, Overview, Connection Status ( ) this is the connection between your Dashboard and Child sites, Security issues. Recent Posts and Recent Pages you can drag and drop these Widgets to wherever on the page you prefer. 

So we could even switch our Recent Posts with our Recent Pages.

If you press the Screen Options Cog, you can even remove Widgets, you don't want. 

Let's get rid of that Recent Posts and Recent Pages that we just moved by, unchecking them and pressing the Save Settings button. And just like that they are gone.

To return them, just reverse the process and they are back go to the Screen Cog button, reclick them and say the Settings, press the Cog button again.

And you can turn the page from two columns to three, and you'll see, we'll move these Recent Pages over there. And we have our three columns set up. If you want to start over again, just go back to the Cog. 

Press the Reset Page. 

Yes, to proceed. 

And the Overview Page is back to its default state. And that is the MainWP Dashboard Overview page.
