Using the "Cited by" feature in Google Scholar is
a great way to explore research using one
citation as a common theme.
This approach will teach you how to expand your
research by seeing how one article or book has
been used by other scholars.
Let's conduct a search!
Under the search result of your choice, click the
"Cited by" link.
This link connects you to newer, more specific
research that is relevant to the cited article.
You will now see selected article at the top of the
page.
To conduct a new search - using this article as a
springboard to find other relevant articles - check
the box next to "Search within citing articles."
Now try a new search!
And that is how you use the "Cited by" feature in
Google Scholar!
