This tutorial outlines the Cerner Registration integration with FirstNet.  ED nurses will begin discharging the encounters (visits) at the completion of the visit for patients leaving the facility.  As a result, ED encounters will no longer remain open for 72 hours after the patient has been discharged from the ED.
