Objectives:
- Producing the vowels: a, e, i, o, u
- Recognizing the diphthongs: ae, ei, io, ou, ui
- Sounding the alphabet: m, n, ñ, o, p, q
- the traditional double letters: ch, ll, rr , chico, me llamo, perro
- Being aware of new language symbols : ñ , but not a new sound for English. As in ‘onion, canyon’.
- Students will be able to combine letters with vowels to pronounce syllables
