Spanish Sounds Part 3

Objectives:

-Students will be able to combine letters with vowels to pronounce syllables.  If we can pronounce syllables correctly, we can pronounce  short words with confidence: ba, be, bi, bo, bu (baño, beso) ca, co, cu (‘k’ sound) ce, ci ( ‘s’ sound) (casa, cosa, cena)

cha, che, chi, cho, chu (Chaco, Chile)

- Students will be able to combine letters and diphthongs to pronounce words.

- Students will be introduced to triphthongs.
