Suppose we want to find the points of intersection
of these two functions. Let's graph the two
functions
and I can see that there are two points of
intersection and I'd like to find both of them.
Second CALCULATE
the intersection: option five
of Y1 ENTER
and Y2 ENTER
Get close to one of the points of intersection
and press ENTER
So, one point of intersection is the point X equals
2 and Y equals - 6.
We'll repeat the process to find the other point of
intersection. Second CALCULATE
the intersection
of Y1 and Y2
Move the cursor close to the point of intersection
ENTER
And our second point of intersection is the point X
equals -1, Y equals 3.
