Reynolds Library. Use QuickSearch to search for items at all three
Reynolds campus libraries - including books,
articles and videos - all from one place. To start with QuickSearch, type your search
terms in the search box on the library’s home
page. We are going to search for ZOMBIES. Here's the results page. We are going to limit our results, since we got
over 18,000 hits on the the word ZOMBIES. I'm looking for a book today, so I am going to click
on the resource type of BOOKS. I'm also going to limit this to where the book is
located. I am going to choose JSR Parham. Another thing you can do is limit it to items that
are available right now. So I’ll click on Books & Media at the top. Now we are down to 16 books. All of these should be available, at Parham, and
all books. I like this one: Pride and Prejudice and Zombies,
the graphic novel. This book is avaiable at JSR Parham in the
Graphic Novel Collection. There's the call number: PN67…that is the code
for where this item is located on the shelf. If I was in the library right now I could go straight
to that spot and grab the book. Click on details about the item. If you are doing a Works Cited page or a
bibliography, this is where you would find the
author, publisher, and date. Information you need for both MLA and APA style
citations! I’m off campus now, but I want to pick up my book
next week. I’ll place a request for it and the library will have it
waiting for me at the front desk. Click on Request this item. Sign in with your MyJSR account. This is the
same ID you use for BlackBoard and email.
I will choose Parham from the list. I am going to put in my phone number, because
I'd like the library to call me when it is ready. Then click HOLD. Library staff will contact you when it is ready; you
can also contact the library yourself. Note: you can request it if the book is checked out
OR on the shelf.
