To embed a video to one of your course announcements or a web page what you need to do is to go to the site where you found the video, grab the embed code I couldn't hit two but different in that old and that code. If it is YouTube I suggest for you to use the old embed code. Press Ctrl C Now in your course site, if you haven't created the announcement create a new one. And under content you can type your message. And there are two ways in which you can insert the embed code. You can either switch to the HTML source view. And in this screen you can press Ctrl V Update Then Publish. Okay? Now the other way to insert embed code from a video. I am going to create anoter news item. And in here I am going to use an option that I have in D2L which is Insert Stuff. I click on Insert Stuff then Enter Embed Code and in that box I press Ctrl V. Remember that I already copied the embed code from the YouTube site then click Next Insert and Publish and as you can see I obtained the same result.
