How to create groups or work areas such as <BR>discussions and dropbox. To create a group <BR>click Course Tasks, select Groups
New Category
type the name of the category
enter the number of groups you want to create
and under Create Workspace mark the <BR>workspaces that you want to setup for those <BR>groups. Could be discussion areas or dropbox.
Click Save. If you haven't created the forum, you <BR>need to create one, but if you already have a <BR>forum you just need to select it. In this case I
don't have any forum so I need to create a new <BR>one.
Save
and click Create and Next
Now Dropbox folder
I need to create a Dropbox folder.
If I have a grade item that I'm going to associate <BR>to that dropbox folder, I just need to select the <BR>grade item
enter the score
and
Create
Done
and Save
Now I need to assign the students that are <BR>gonna be
part of each group. So I click in the drop-down <BR>arrow
select Enroll Users
and I just need to mark the box
to assign each student.
Click Save.
Now if you go to Discussions.
You're going to see that the forum was created
and a work or discussion area, a topic for each <BR>group was created.
And in Dropbox.
You have the dropbox
and the students in Group 1 and 2 are going to <BR>be able to submit to that respective area.
And this is how you create groups or work <BR>areas.
