If you are off campus and need to use library
resources for your research, you'll need to log-in
through the Juniper Gateway. in order to be authorized to use these databases. There are several places to login and there's one

username and password and you will be taken to a screen that looks like
this. A couple of things to notice: up in the URL
or the website address, you'll see that it says gateway.colby-sawyer.edu and that tells
you that you have a login through remote access.

will take me to the page of the library web site where our subject guides and our specific
course guides are posted You can see here we are at the library home
page, it and if we check the URL again, we still
see that we are at gateway.colby-sawyer.edu. So you know that you will be authorized to use
these resources from off campus. If you're
researching for a particular class, check the online summer course guides or
current semester courses box for your course. Otherwise, go ahead and click into
one of the Subject-specific guides. and you'll be all set to start your research!
