Space Crimes - Kids Summer 2011.mp4
3.29MB
This animation was created in Hollywood, using Windows 7 and the virtual XP mode (hint: integration off). Eleven children, aged 8-12, participated in creating the story line, piecing the different scenes together, and creating the dialogue. Post-editing was done in Windows Camtasia 7.1 to remove lengthy pauses and move the action along. This type of project is designed to build executive functioning and pragmatic language. Because the program allows characters' facial expressions to easily be changed, it is useful for helping children recognize how people usually look when they are feeling a certain way.
