Case Study Clinical Operations and Resource Management with Spotfire at Allergan.mp4
74.33MB
Join Allergan's Grant Morgan and TIBCO Spotfire's Michael O'Connell as they present a case study on Clinical Operations & Resource Management.

Allergan has developed a clinical capacity resource tool (SPEAR Tool) within the Spotfire Clinical framework that estimates projected patient enrollment and clinical resource requirements. This includes specific headcount estimates for individual studies and their component stages.

Productivity metrics of Clinical functions are being used in this framework to accurately predict clinical resource requirements across Allergan’s portfolio of Clinical studies.

The presentation will outline how Allergan utilizes Spotfire at both the study and portfolio level for patient and resource estimation including a live demonstration of Spotfire-based application.

We will also demonstrate in context, how Spotfire can be used to manage operational aspects on a portfolio of clinical programs including dashboards of key performance indicators (KPIs) showing trial enrolment and site performance with drill down to root-cause understanding re. sites and principal investigator performance.
