This course provides teachers with a survey and analysis of current approaches to the planning, use, and evaluation of educational technologies. The primary goal of this course is to help instructors become familiar with current educational technologies so they can improve their instruction, assessment, and professional productivity. During our time together, we will study ways to facilitate the use of technology to inspire student learning and creativity. We will learn how to design, develop, and assess digital learning experiences. We will discover ways to model digital-age work and learning. We will learn how to model digital citizenship and responsibility. Finally, through community participation, lifelong learning, and service: we will examine ways to grow professionally and become technology leaders.
