Two Perspectives on Religion and Politics in the Twenty-First Century
Trinity Graduate School and the School of Biblical and Religious Studies at Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois sponsored the first annual Areopagus Symposium on Tuesday, 1 April at 7:00 p.m. CST in the AT Olson Chapel. In this year of presidential politics, our first symposium appropriately addressed the issue of religion and politics. Our two guests represented an evangelical perspective (Dr. Tom Atchison, Fox Valley Church) and a Mormon perspective (Bishop Dale Prows, Buffalo Grove Ward 1) of faith in relation to political views. Dr. Michael Reynolds, pastor of New Life Celebration Church, responded. Dr. Michael Cooper moderated. For more information about the 2008 Symposium, click Areopagus Symposium.
