Hello Ian,
Thank you for sharing a few tips with me today. It is amazing just how much you can learn when a pro like yourself takes the time to record a podcast and go into such detail.

I use audacity in my classes. I don't have time to watch this now. Is there a way to download the podcast and watch it later?
Thanks

Hi Glenn, glad you liked it! If it is useful to your students we have a 9-part screencasting tutorial on our blog (http://blog.procasts.co.uk), it covers a lot on software, techniques and presentation. Cheers, Ian.

Hello Jenn. In our blog you'll find this tutorial entry on pro-audio recording: http://blog.procasts.co.uk/2009/04/screencast-tutorial-part-8-make-pro-sounding-audio/ It discusses plosives (the main techniques being - avoid them in the first place by using a pop-shield, editing their volume in post-production). Ian.
