Despite ladies having the natural pipes built for the genres, it's not very often the fairer sex ventures into the worlds of hard rock and heavy metal. Fortunately for all ears of these persuasions, however, meet Margarita Monet of the up-and-coming band Edge of Paradise, our guest on the latest installment of Radio Free Threedonia. Margarita takes us through their incredibly meteoric rise, from just forming at the beginning of this year, through being blessed with having legends Gregg Bissonette, Tony Franklin and Bjorn Englen -- as bombastically tight a rhythm section as you'll find -- play on their debut album Mask and landing a slot playing to 10,000+ people at Manny Pacquiao (Shane Mosley bout) after-party, to slugging it out and conquering the LA club scene. All in less than 10 months work on the road towards global domination, right?

If you like what you hear in the interview and/or the video below, please be sure to learn more about them at their official site, friend them on Facebook, snag a copy of Mask at the Threedonia Amazon store, make a request at a radio station near you, or more importantly, find a way to see them on-stage, before or when they're opening for the likes of Rob Zombie or Steve Vai, or headlining in a city near you. So many choices, plenty of time.
