Rural Hospital Emergency Preparedness and Response

Kevin Bernard - Rural hospitals face many challenges regarding emergency management, preparedness, and response. Some of these challenges include resource limitations, remoteness, separation, low population, special population, and communication issues. By identifying these issues early, organizations can be much more prepared. This presentation will enhance current knowledge and response by identifying interoperable avenues to assist in response.
