Save a Treasured Home
“Save a Treasured Home: The Story of the Moorman Family House”
The film is about an historic Dallas home which was designed and built by David George. David was not only an apprentice of Frank Lloyd Wright, but in his own right became one of the strongest modernists working in the 1960s and 1970s.
An older couple has lived in the home for 47 years, and unfortunately they have fallen on hard times. They are in their 70’s, and need help in order to keep the home they so adore, and live out the rest of their lives there.
In addition, the vision is for the city of Dallas and the state of Texas to preserve this unique, architecturally significant home. It is in an amazing natural setting and embodies the “organic” style of Frank Lloyd Wright. We would love it to become a library or nature/art center for children and adults alike.
Please view the film and share with all your friends who enjoy amazing art and architecture, and who might be able to help achieve our vision! The home is truly a treasure and should be preserved for future generations.
