The word document for this screencast was written after the lesson, when I realised how much potential there is in a poem, especially with teens, as it gives them the opportunity to air their feelings and let their voices heard. I also then made the screencast so that they have the opportunity to listen to it more times, explore its language to give them enough confidence to write their own based on this model.
