DEFINITELY HOOTSUITE! Awesome video, Julia! ... Thanks for sharing! I removed Tweetdeck from my computer about a week ago because it was interfering with my system's performance, so a web-based program is perfect. :)

Maybe the Direct Clicks come from things like your email. Not sure if that would even be logged though, since I am assuming the clicks are only counted if you used Hootsuite to shorten the url, is that right? I can t tell you much by way of comparison between TweetDeck and Hootsuite since I am barely familliar with both of them. But I can say that i am anxious to begin using these features that you so graciously have pointed out in this great video! I am also assuming the diff. profiles in this program would only apply if you are tweeting under diff. names/aliases or tweeting for someone else, is that correct? THANKS AGAIN Julia- we appreciate you keeping us up to date, even up to the minute practically! >>>One last thing- i have been working over a month on a new blog about dealing with debt, and would love it if you could go by, read a bit and leave a comment for me. With a Keyword column, you can easily add multiple terms or phrases (up to 3) to track in a single column vs only one search term with the Search column. You are able to accomplish the same result from the search column, however it is just a bit more complicated. Also, regarding the filtering within a column, that may be something you`ll see in the not so distant future ;)

No contest - HOOTSUITE wins hands down! Thanks for the great video running through all the features like that. I've just recently signed up for HootSuite and it saves me time having a quick start tutorial like this.

Title: Hootsuite now superior to TweetDeck
Description: HootSuite released just yesterday (July 31) a substantially updated version of their Twitter client. I now think it''s superior to TweetDeck because with Hootsuite you can: 1. Manage multiple profiles (also true in TweetDeck) 2. Schedule tweets (big shortcoming of TweetDeck that you can''t do this) 3. Shorten links & track statistics (TweetDeck offers bit.ly but I prefer the ow.ly shortener) 4. Create groups (TweetDeck does this, but not well - HootSuite is superb!) 5. Integrates with Ping.fm (can''t do that in TweetDeck) 6. Tabbed view to manage profiles, groups & search columns (big advantage over TweetDeck''s "flat" layout) 7. And, the knock-out punch - HootSuite is web-based, whereas TweetDeck is a massive resources hog on your desktop
