Man’s Greatest Need is to Know God * Psalm 19:1 1 The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. John 17:33 And this is eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. Hebrews 11:66 And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. 1 John 2:3-43 And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 Whoever says I know him but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him.2 Thessalonians 1:7-97 …and to grant relief to you who are afflicted as well as to us, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels 8 in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9 They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might. Romans 11:33-3633 Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways. 34 For who has known the mind of the Lord or who has been his counselor 35 Or who has given a gift to him that he might be repaid 36 For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen. Ephesians 2:1212 …remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. Psalm 10:44 In the pride of his face the wicked does not seek him - all his thoughts are, There is no God.
