Hey Rainer, great work! Can u provide a download link whit this little Example in the video. This would be very helpfully for me. I just try to render the Items in my view, in the way like you did. But without success :o( Thanks in advance Mirko

I'm the createor of the video, this is an old and sadly, also discontinued gem. You'll find it on github https://github.com/ticktricktrack/mongoid_tree, but mongoid had a lot of new features since and there are other gems to do the tree stuff now.
Due to a job change I'm no longer working with MongoDB, so I'm not that well informed about the latest developments.
