As always a very timely article. Just returned today from my first visioning meeting for our 16 county 3 state region. We were told there would be 1 plan for the entire area. Still our local government has not been informed of this plan. I talked to my Commissioner immediately after the meeting and they still have not received any notification. At the meeting today we were told (after I asked why our councils and commissions were nat aware of this plan) there was a meeting scheduled for Nov. 1 and all local officials were invited. Well my Commissioners say there was no invitation for such a meeting sent to them.
