There are several ways to upload content to Screencast.com:
Upload content from within the Library using the Web Uploader
Upload content using the Mac or Windows Desktop Uploader (required for files over 100 MB)
You can also upload content directly from other TechSmith products like Camtasia Studio and Jing to Screencast.com. For information on uploading from other TechSmith applications, consult that application's help file.
Upload Content on Screencast.com
Open a Screencast.com folder to contain the content.
Click Upload. The Upload Content window appears.
Click Browse.
Select the files to upload.
Click Open to upload the files.
Once the upload is complete, click Close to return to the folder.
Note: If you do not select a folder, content will be uploaded to the Default folder.
Upload Content with the Desktop Uploader
To upload files larger than 100 MB, use the Desktop Uploader. This is a free utility that you can download from Screencast.com and install on your computer.
Download and Install the Desktop Uploader:
From a folder or the Library, click the Upload button. The Upload Content dialog box appears.
Click the Desktop Uploader link. You are taken to the Tools page.
Click the Windows Uploader link or Mac Uploader link. The download begins.
Open the file to begin the install. Step through the wizard and click Finish when the install is complete. The Desktop Uploader will be open and ready to use.
Upload content with the Desktop Uploader:
Open the Desktop Uploader.
Click Add Files and select the files to upload or, drag and drop files from your computer directly into the uploader.
Click Quit to close the Desktop Uploader when all uploads are complete.
