Searching and Filtering

The Search field on Screencast.com allows you to quickly find content in your account. Note that you are the only one that can find your content in this manner. There is no ability to search the entirety of Screencast.com like there is with YouTube, for example.

Search only displays results from the folder or group as indicated in the left navigation bar. For example, if All Videos is selected and you enter search terms, you will only see results for video content. Likewise if you select an individual folder, search only presents results contained in that folder.

Search looks through three types of content identifiers: title, description, and keywords. To enter a description and/or keywords, click the content in your LIbrary. Next, click the Edit Details button located on the Details tab underneath the content as shown below.
