Customize What Your Viewers See

Important Note to Free Account Holders: For Free account holders, the ability to hide the Screencast.com branding on your View Page via the Viewers see content only option is no longer available. To remove the Screencast.com branding, you must upgrade your Free account to a Pro Account. If some of your folders were using the Viewers see content only option to remove the Screencast.com branding, all of those folders will revert back to using the default Screencast.com template.

Create a Custom View Page Template

Screencast.com's Pro account holders are able to create uniquely branded templates and assign different templates to individual folders. You can add your own logo, use your own color scheme, and customize what appears to your audience in the View Page.

Templates are assigned on a folder basis. All of the content in a folder will take on the look of the template assigned to that folder. You cannot assign a template to an individual piece of content within a folder or the library.

To Customize a Template

  1. Hover over a folder in the library. From the menu, click Edit.

  2. The Edit Folder Properties dialog box appears.
  3. Click New in the View Page Template group box. The Customize Template screen appears.
  4. Click a tab to open up the options for a particular section of the template. The Preview Area is updated as you go.
  5. Make all changes and enter a name in the Template Title field.
  6. Click Save. Click OK at the update message. Your template is now available in the template dropdown menu in the Edit Folders Properties dialog box.
